A lot of paving contractors don't want you researching them on the internet. Here are just a few ways you can do some research on your own.

1. Google the company name, the Owners name, and or the company PHONE NUMBER.

2. Search the Oregon Construction Contractors Board.

3. Search on a few tattle tale sites. PortlandScams.com or RipOffReport.com

4. Snoop around on some of the local new websites. Search just like you would in google.

It is important to know with whom you are about to enter into a contract with. Unfortunately there are all kinds of ways to get into trouble as a homeowner by not being thorough with your research.
